Parking There is minimal parking available at the Pennell Reserve for $15 day (exact cash only on the day - no credit cards) Pennell Reserve is a short 10minute walk from the Quang Minh Temple. Rather than bringing your own car, we strongly suggest using the bus service from the Sunshine Train Station. (information provided below) Traffic may become congested and could delay your arrival time for the teachings. There is no Disability Parking available, however, you can drop off at the Temple and park in the Pennell Reserve. (parking fees apply) Please note, in an attempt to cause the least disruption to local business and schools, there will be traffic controllers on the day. Please observe their information and instruction. Heart Sutra Bus Service (The Dalai Lama Express) from Sunshine Station There will be round-trip bus service for attendees from the Sunshine Train Station to Quang Minh Temple, Wednesday 19th June 2013. The buses will be leaving the station every 10 minutes. (approximately a 10 minute trip) The charge for this service is $2 gold coin for each trip - payable at the start of each trip to the volunteer on board. (cash only and no change given, so please bring gold coins.) Morning Times: 5 x Buses leave Sunshine Station from 7:00 am with the last bus leaving at 8.50 am. There will be ONE ONLY LATE BUS, leaving Sunshine Station at 9.10am. Afternoon Times: Buses return to Sunshine Station, with the first bus leaving the Temple at approximately 3:30 pm. There will be Heart Sutra volunteers at the station to direct you to the correct buses. The buses are provided by Nationwide Tours - Kastoria Bus Line. Parking is available around the Sunshine Station at the Library and various streets. Parking is at your own risk.
