How do I buy a ticket?
Ticket purchases are mainly online. We encourage you to book online and print your own e-tickets. You must keep them in a safe place and you must bring them with you, along with your current photo ID for entry to the teachings.
Purchasing online
Go to Ticket information to purchase your tickets online and receive your e-tickets by email. Please print out your ticket/s and bring them with you to the event, along with your current photo ID. You can use Mastercard or Visa for online tickets.
Purchasing by mail or phone (no longer available - see Ticket Information)
By mail – please post a cheque or money order to Drol Kar Buddhist Centre, Cl- PO Box 160, Warrandyte, VIC 3113
By phone – please phone the office on 03 9844 5379. The office is open Tuesday to Friday from 10.00am until 3.00pm. Please leave a message if there is no answer and we will contact you as soon as we are able.
(Please note that mail and phone orders will incur an additional $5.00 processing and handling fee per ticket; also, please allow 15 working days for return mail.)
How much are the tickets?

Can I buy a ticket on the day?
No. Space is very limited for this special and intimate event, so tickets will sell fast. We recommend you purchase tickets early to avoid the disappointment of missing out.
I’ve lost my ticket. What do I do?
If your e-ticket has been destroyed or lost before the teachings, please contact the office on 03 9844 5379, so that a new ticket can be issued and the original can be cancelled – a small fee will apply. Unfortunately, entry without a ticket is not possible on the day of the event. Please read Terms, conditions and security.
I posted my ticket order form, but I don’t have my tickets yet. Where are they?
Please allow 15 working days for your return mail. Please call the ticket office on 1300 484 262 after that time, if your tickets have not arrived.
I’m experiencing difficulties with the ticketing website. What should I do?
At times of peak traffic, or slow website performance, you may experience difficulty in processing your transaction. Please be patient and try refreshing your browser if this occurs. If you are still experiencing difficulties, try again later. However, please contact the office on 03 9844 5379 during office hours if you continue to experience difficulties. Please note, however, that our staff cannot provide IT support for any personal technical difficulties you may be experiencing.
My ticketing transaction went through twice by accident. What can I do?
Please contact the office on 03 9844 5379 during business hours and a full refund of the excess transaction will be arranged.
Why can’t I get through on the office phone?
To keep operating costs down, the office is only staffed part-time. Please leave a message, including your contact details, and we will get back to you regarding your enquiry as soon as possible.

What is the recommended time to arrive at the Quang Minh Buddhist Temple?
Please plan on arriving early enough to clear security, be seated and ready to start. This will require you to be at the venue two hours prior to the program start time. Security screening will commence at 7am. We would appreciate if you are seated in your seat at 9am.
What are the teaching times?
9.30am to 11.30am and 1.00pm to 3.00pm
Will translation into non-English languages be provided?
Translation services into Vietnamese and Chinese will be available; you are required to bring your own FM radio if you wish the access the translation service. FM frequency will be provided on the day.
Can I bring my baby stroller into the venue?
No, strollers are not allowed and every child must have a valid ticket.
Will there be handicapped parking?
Guests with valid, state-issued handicapped parking hang tags will be able to park in a designated parking lot. Further details are available on request. If you do not have a valid, state-issued hang tag, please do not attempt to park in this lot. It will be staffed by security and you will be turned away.
What should I do if I require a wheelchair?
There is seating in the floor area that is easily accessible to individuals in wheelchairs or motorised scooters. Guests who require seating in this location need to indicate this to us at the time they purchase tickets. Please note that attendants of people in wheelchairs must purchase their own tickets.
Do volunteers need to buy tickets?
Volunteers will not need a ticket for admission to the venue. However, not every volunteer position will give you access to the teachings.
How can I volunteer?
The number of volunteers needed and the jobs they will do has not yet been defined, but every offer of help is valued and appreciated. Many people have already volunteered to help, so there is an application process for offering assistance. If you would like to volunteer please go to Volunteers for more information. Volunteers selected to work will be required to attend a mandatory training session prior to the event.
